⚫ Existence of God

Different things found in the universe like the sun, moon, stars, sky, river, sea and earth are very big realities.Looking at these things, a person thinks who is the creator that created these things and what is their purpose.

Allah says: (Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the coming and going of the night and the day, and in the boats and ships that move in the sea for the benefit of the people, and in the rain that Allah sends down from the sky and from it. The power of Allah for the intelligent to make the earth alive after it is dead, i.e., after it has become dry, to spread all kinds of living things on the green earth, and in the blowing of the winds, and in the clouds that are enclosed between the sky and the earth. There are signs of Allah Almighty nature)

Surah Bakarah:164

All these facts invite us to think about who made them and who has kept these things in order. All these facts draw our attention to the existence of a Lord. He will bring the intellect to work, he will see the proofs of the existence of Allah Almighty in everything in the universe.

⚫So we try to understand the existence of the Almighty in the light of the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

1:The existence of the earth on which we live, which provides us with a place to stay and is also the source of our sustenance, in a certain order, and then the sky standing above it without a pillar, makes us realize that the earth and the sky are created. There is a doer and a sustainer, Allah Almighty said while describing this fact in Surah Ibrahim.

(Is there any doubt about Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth) Surah Ibrahim:10

2:Allah Almighty has not only created the universe but also created it in an order. The sun and the moon are rotating in their own orbits. This is the proof of God's oneness.In Surah Yasin, Allah Almighty said about the order and discipline of the universe.

(Neither the sun can overtake the moon, nor can the night come before the day, they are all floating in a circle) Surah Yasin:40

3:In Surah Malik, Allah Almighty also explained this arrangement and said:

(You will not find any disorder in the creation of Rahman) Surah Mulk:3

4:Man has acknowledged the Lordship of Allah Almighty in the world of spirits. When Allah Almighty created the souls of all mankind, He asked them one question first.

Am I not your Lord? Then all (the souls) replied yes (You are our Lord)  Surah Al Araf:172

⚫The ability to think and understand that God has placed in the human mind requires that we believe in the fact that it is God who is running this system. This is an example of a rational argument(عقیدہ توحید) to prove the belief in monotheism:

There is an incident that Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa (may Allah have mercy on him) arranged a debate on the existence of Allah with a non-Muslim.Imam Sahib deliberately came late to the place of debate, so the opponents objected that why he did not come on time? So he said to the dissidents: I came to the bank of a river and found that there was no bridge over the river, so I started waiting. Meanwhile, a tree was cut down by itself from the nearby forest.The planks were made and then the planks were connected to each other and then the connected planks automatically came over the river and stopped at a certain place which formed a bridge and then I came across this bridge to you hence the delay.The opponents objected that our opponent is lying. So he will lie in the debate too, why can trees be cut automatically? Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifah (may Allah have mercy on him) replied that if a tree cannot be cut by itself, a bridge cannot be built by itself, then how can such a large system of the Universe come into existence by itself? There is an entity running the system and that entity belongs to Allah.

These Quranic verses show that Allah is One, we should worship Him alone and not associate anyone with Him.

⚫Who has Allah sent to guide mankind?

The Prophets whom Allah Almighty sent to this world for the guidance of mankind, all of them taught humanity about the oneness of the Lord, because the only purpose of their mission was that the man who forgot his Lord and the Lord His Relationship with the Lord has gone away. All the Prophets emphasized that He is the only Creator and Owner. Only He should be worshipped. Allah sent down the heavenly books to the Prophets for the guidance of humanity. He said: All of them had one thing in common that Allah Almighty is the owner of the universe and He alone should be worshiped and no one should be associated with Him. Allah Almighty sent His prophets and books for the guidance of man. He also gave the blessing of intellect to worry, through which man decides his benefit and loss. By using intellect, he can easily understand the monotheism of God. Use the intellect, as the Allah Almighty has said: (If there were any other God besides Allah in the creation and management of the earth and the heavens, there would certainly be corruption and corruption in the system of both the earth and the heavens) Surah Al Anbia:22. The intellect recognizes that the earth And there is no error in the system of the heavens and they are working in a certain time and in a certain order. It can be said that it is Allah who is running this system, who is the creator and owner of all of us, He is the Lord of this universe, He alone should be worshiped and we all have to be Accountable to Him, He has no need for us. While we are all in need of Him, there is no lack or defect in Him, but He is powerful and the source of knowledge. We live only by using His blessings.And every moment of our life is subject to His power.
